(Bangkok Post file photo)The government has denied asking people to wear yellow on Monday, the first day after the mourning period of King Bhumibol Adulyadej officially ended. Government spokesman Sansern Kaewkamnerd was responding to reports the Prachuap Khiri Khan governor had asked people to wear yellow on that day. Yellow is believed to be the colour of the late king, who was born on Monday. As of now, there has been no such instruction to provincial governors,” Lt Gen Sansern said. The instruction is to wear normal colours as appropriate but no mourning pins should be used starting Monday.
